A short but pacy striker. He is extremely promising and hailed in Italy as the 'new' Obafemi Martins.
2002-03: Was one of the most exciting players in Italy's Youth league whilst playing for Reggiana.
2003-04: Signed for Juventus. Made an immediate impact. In a friendly against the Juventus senior squad, he immediately scored and set up another. Much is expected from this young striker who reminds most Italians of the other Italy-based Nigerian prodigy Obafemi Martins. In his competitive debut for the Senior squad in Italian Cup, he scored a goal in a 2-1 win for his team.
2005-06: Signed a two-year contract with Standard Liege of Belgium. He didn't get any playing time with Standard, so he joined Greek first division club Ionikos during the winter transfer window.

CV:
Benjamin used to play in youth together with Obafemi Martins, in Nigeria he was rated even better than Obafemi, (in a sprint test he was quicker than Martins!) and the local based experts expected Benjamin to become a european star. As it is is football, Benjamin had in some situations of his career not the luck / fortune / that Obafemi had, but with 23 years he is still ready to explode on top stage, despite playing for a bad team, his contribution and performances this season have caught the interest of Greek giant AEK Athens.
Normally a free agent, his contract situation has to be discussed with Ionikos and probably Fifa.
